Refund Policy

CryptoTaxCompanion is operated by Kabelo Simis Nchee. Payments and refunds are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited.

1. 14-day free trial

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. You can cancel anytime before it ends from your billing page and you will not be billed.

2. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are charged for a paid plan and you have not yet generated a final tax report (Form 8949, capital-gains summary, or equivalent download), you may request a full refund within 30 days of the charge. Refunds are issued by Paddle on our behalf and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.

3. After a final report is generated

Because tax reports represent the primary value delivered by the Service, refunds cannot be issued once a final tax report has been generated and downloaded for the relevant tax year.

4. Renewals

Annual subscriptions renew automatically. We email a reminder before any renewal charge. Renewal charges are not eligible for the 30-day money-back guarantee, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.

5. How to request a refund

The fastest way is via Paddle: visit paddle.net and follow the prompts using the email you used at checkout. You can also email us at support@cryptotaxcompanion.com with your account email and the date of the charge, and we will arrange the refund with Paddle.

6. Statutory rights

This policy does not affect any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
